We created a Webflow site for an artist, seamlessly presenting his art and vision, as a digital extension of his unique work.
Remy Jungerman, the winner of the Dr. A.H. Heineken Prize for Art, is an artist who seamlessly combines Surinamese Maroon culture and African diaspora in his visual language. Jungerman’s work has appeared in the Stedelijk Museum, the Goodman Gallery (London as well as South Africa) and at the 58th Venice Biennale. In addition, Remy Jungerman has published several books in which he writes in depth about his working methods, inspirations and artistic journey.
It was important for the artist to have a website that best presented and displayed his art, without distraction or noise. We created a Webflow site that you really want to keep looking at: an extension of Jungerman’s work—visually rich, layered and rhythmically composed.
